Meet Ellie, head of public relations and Echo, head of security, a cherished part of our Obsidian team! Raised on the property since pups, they are in charge of keeping wildlife away at night. Make sure to say hi if you see them out patrolling the grounds
Tegin is our Bar Manager and brings a wealth of experience to the Obsidian team. While in post secondary pursuing a career in law enforcement she found her calling after a fluke job offering at 19 launched her career in the hospitality industry. She has built an extensive resume with 15yrs experience running bar departments in the professional sports and live events industry. She strives to make your bar experience as seamless and memorable as possible for you as well as your guests on your big day.
Kaylie is our Event Coordinator & Content Creator. She discovered her passion for helping deliver a seamless experience while planning all of her siblings many events growing up. She decided to make her passion her life’s work and graduated from NAIT’s Hospitality Management program and is WPIC Certified. She now has many weddings under her belt and looks to continue helping couples have their dream day, from organizing/planning to execution. When she’s not working she loves to travel, do some yoga or go for a hike.
Michael is responsible for systems management and the overall operations of our venue. Following the lead of Layson & Jodi, he works to ensure that client information, and venue events run smoothly. He will also be there on the day of your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the ground.
