Important Times To Note

While each day at Obsidian is uniquely its own, there are some logistical aspects to the venue timeline that all guests should be aware of in order to make sure that each event flows smoothly. Our unique overnight packages mean that there are some key times for your arrival and departure throughout the day. Please keep these in mind when planning your day.

10:00 am

Arrival on-site

The main gates open for your arrival. At this point you will have access to the Main Reception Area, Bridal Suite, Grooms Den and Ceremony Space. Golf cart rentals also begin at this time.

11:00 am (+1 day)

Check-out

If you are staying the night, your check-out time will be 11:00 am the following day. This includes the Honeymoon suite, Geo Domes, Vintage RVs and all campers. Access to the Fire Pit and Outdoor kitchen also end at this time.

12:00 pm

RV & Camper Arrivals

If you have reserved a campsite and are hosting guests with RVs and/or tents, they may start arriving at 12:00 pm to setup.

Check-in

If you have reserved any of our overnight accommodations (Honeymoon suite, Geo-Domes, Vintage RVs) you may check in at 3:00 pm.

Groom's Den & Bridal Suite Close

At 5:00 pm all personal items must be removed from the Bridal Suite and Groom's den. We ask that this happens before dinner and the reception because once the party starts you really don't want to worry about this. This allows us to prepare the spaces for the following guests.

Golf Cart Rental Ends

If you've rented a golf cart, you will be asked for the keys at this time. No Drinking and Driving!

Live music ends

Any live music must be completed by 11:00 pm. This is in order to comply with county noise bylaws. If you have a DJ, they may continue to play music through our in-house PA system.

Last Call

Last call in the Reception Area. Our staff will help wind things down at the Bar. If you have included an overnight package with your event, you may continue to enjoy the evening in the Fire Pit Area until check-out time (11:00 am).

Note that for weekday events (Sun - Thurs) last call is 11:00 pm)

Ceremony & Reception Area Clean up

All personal items, and decor must be cleaned and removed from both the Reception and Ceremony Areas by 2:00 am the following morning.

If you have an overnight package included - this can be delayed until 8:00 am; however, we strongly recommend that you enlist some volunteers to handle this task before this time - it will make the next morning much better.
